January 2026 Recap: 1. Hamstring rehab coming along nicely during @dragen.vrataric college offseason. 40 yard max velocity sprints looking 🔥 2. Grateful to have colleagues at @kineticimpact in San Diego who I can refer patients to for continued care and vice versa. Transitioning this patient for ACL rehab to @dr.kevinleung caseload to ensure he still gets his quad smoked 🤝 3. Prone 90/90 shoulder isos for a patient with chronic neck and shoulder pain. This was one of the few strategies we could use without sharp pain while also feeling the rotator cuff getting absolutely worked. We’ve been able to work up to 3x45s holds with neck pain also reducing every week 👀 4. Celebrated another PR month of revenue for @_tribe_ptp at our all-time favorite sushi spot in Sherman Oaks 🙌🍣📈 5. Presented to Fischer Travel Group earlier this month at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village. Had an amazing time connecting with new people, talking about the benefits of strength training, and diving into the importance of physical activity guidelines as we age 🫡🧠 6. Lateral hop testing for another soccer player heading back to the pitch after a tibial fracture this past Summer and hernia surgery this past Fall ⚽️ 7. My cousin’s new dog had a terrible time meeting Emily for the first time 😂🦮 8. New year means new training block. Been playing around with a programming template shared by @compoundperformance_ awhile back that involves working from 4x6 on main lifts in weeks 1-3 and progressing to 6x4 in weeks 4-6. Highly recommend giving Kyle and his team a follow (as well as the homie @jobinparker ) as they’re some of the best in the game with regards to S+C for all levels. Also watch the video if you want to see my ugly lifting face 💪 9. First ever hockey game experience with @emilyeschnitman @paigepgriffith and Instagram-less Abby, watching a bunch of grown ass men beat the shit out of each other on the ice while inhaling Wetzel’s was an absolute vibe 🥨🏒 10. Perspective drives performance 🚀 #movementismedicine

Expressing power in sprinting, throwing, jumping, swings, and plyos requires a HIGH rate of force production. Producing high levels of force requires rapid pushing into the floor and/or rotation through the torso. To express the MOST athletic power, violence with these movements is crucial. #movementismedicine

August Recap 🔥 1. Sidelying Scissor Slide (say that ten times fast) for a patient with low back pain. Opens up hip internal rotation and smokes the groin 💨 2. Officially launched the @_tribe_ptp Newsletter this month 🎉 This past week I talked about how @tai.ortizz stands on business and how his work ethic transformed his own path. Already have over 150 people subscribed which is pretty dope! 🤝🗞️ 3. Using band-assisted lunges to help a patient feel more prepared for his return to tennis in a few weeks. Great strategy to teach tolerance to higher braking forces 🎾 4. Apex Predator 👀 5. Sprints continue to stay in the program! Hit 21.6mph, let’s see if I can hit 22mph by the end of the year 🏃‍♂️ 6. Unforgettable weekend learning at the @gogetterscoaching conference in Orlando this month. Business can feel like a tough and lonely sport sometimes, was an incredible experience to connect with some quality entrepreneurs and mentors! 📈 7. Have had more virtual rehab sessions this month compared to any other month in 2025. Here’s a clip of this patient crushing some offset RFESS for his knee rehab. The offset position also helps bias more groin work and internal rotation of the lead leg 🦵 8. My pops is the ultimate ambiance King. He’ll even leave mid family dinner to polish some necessary fixtures✌️💡 9. One of the lowest hanging fruit for runners is to strengthen the calf and ankle complex. 50% of the forces you produce with running occur from the knee down. Doesn’t need to be complex! 🦶💥 #movementismedicine
