I’m still trying to process the amazing night we had. It was such an honor to perform with the legendary @kirkfranklin, @juviethegreat, @cyrilneville, and @ivanneville. It was only made more special to do it with my big brother @tromboneshorty. Even though the Saints lost this game, this was one of the highlights of my life.

4 years ago, we put the ladies on the mic… and never looked back 🥹💜

Different seasons. Different voices. Different stories. Same energy.

A lil photo dump for the women who have touched the R&B Ladies’ Night stage and made every era its own. From the first lineup to the ones that followed — y’all are officially part of the playlist 💿

Happy 4th Anniversary, R&B Ladies’ Night!🥂

Here’s a little glimpse into my trip to #Seoul South Korea with @tromboneshorty & Orleans Avenue 🇰🇷
The culture shock was real and I was humbled many times over by my limited knowledge of how the world operates on another continent, but what really stood out to me was how warm and welcoming the people of Seoul were to us. Grateful for the opportunity to perform at the @seouljazzfestival and to learn from the people there. What an amazing place! ✨ #travel #livemusic #guitarist #mindblown

Wednesday night, International House Hotel and Loa Bar welcomed Taijan @tai9_ for Lilith in Loa — a series for the rebel in all of us, celebrating the women singer-songwriters who continue to shape the soul of New Orleans. Taijan captured the heart and soul of LOA with an outstanding performance of covers from greats and even playing songs of her own!

At International House, we honor this city every day — its architecture, food, music, culture, and the people who make New Orleans unlike anywhere else in the world. And in a city overflowing with music, Lilith in Loa was created to contribute something intimate to the conversation: acoustic storytelling, poetic songwriting, and the voices of remarkable women.

Inspired by the spirit of Laurel Canyon, the West Village, and the enduring power of artists like Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Carly Simon, Carole King, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman, the series connects past and present through the next generation of powerful female performers here in New Orleans.

Produced by the remarkable Molly Graham, Lilith in Loa continues all summer inside Loa at International House Hotel. Specialty cocktails by Mockly × Loa will be inspired by each featured performer throughout the series.

Upcoming performances:
• 5/13 — @tai9_
• 5/27 — @lyla2flyla
• 6/10 — @callyskye
• 6/24 — @chloebandita
• 7/8 — @theezahriasims
• 7/22 — @saskia.walker

📍 Loa at International House Hotel
⏰ 8 PM

You are always invited.
