I am so incredibly grateful for this week getting to grow in community and with the Lord. My main takeaway this week was, “Your fruit should reveal God’s Kingdom, not your kingdom.” To produce the fruit that comes from the Lord, we must abide in Him daily and stay rooted in Christ through every stage of our lives.

“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” -John 15:5

The God we serve is so amazing! Throughout this week Jesus has been teaching me to become cautiously optimistic all while allowing myself to process my other feelings. Heavy things in life will continue to happen but my father is faithful throughout all of it. He calls us to come to him for counsel and love as he desires to help us. He removes the overwhelming feelings from our hearts as we began to seek his peace that is forever offered. Forever grateful for these days and friendships that will continue to be built up on the King of Kings. @studentlifecamp

SLC WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE! ⚡️😇🤍 God has taught me and shown me so many things this week! He has providing me so much peace only he can provide and shown me so many new friendships throughout this whole experience! One of the main things I took from camp is how our worth doesn’t come from our time in the darkness, but rather from the one who comes to find us and brings us out of the darkness. Something else church camp taught me is how God fights for his children so hard and all you have to do is ask for help and he’ll be right there pulling you right out of the hole you were in! God takes good things out of our life to make room for better things so never be sad when a chapter ends, but rather be excited for the next chapter to start. Lost sheep don’t find themselves, but rather their shepherd comes looking for them and fighting for them back! So if you’re ever struggling, just go to Jesus, and he will make your problems disappear! It takes time to heal but with both Jesus, family, friendships, and @studentlifecamp i’m back to the girl whose light never stops shining for one second!

I am so grateful for Student Life Camp with the City Church! Throughout this week the lord taught me that in order to feel true peace which comes from Him, I must abide in his love and pursue him over every worldly solution to my stress. The weight is too heavy to carry alone, and when I give it up to Him he makes me new and turns my struggles into good! I cannot control my life so I have learned that worrying about what my future holds does no good for me, and instead I need to trust what he has in store for me! He makes good out of every situation and there is always light at the end of the tunnel when I choose to walk through it with Him!
