Every Volkswagen has a story before it reaches the road.

For the all-new Tayron, its story began with the Godfather Program, where every designated Godparents oversee every stage of the assembly process to ensure every detail is built to Volkswagen standards.

Join Tayron Godfathers Tai Choo Yee, Datuk Azizulhasni Awang and Hezeri Samsuri, alongside our Volkswagen Pekan Plant team, for a behind-the-scenes look at the program.

The drag race we’ve always wanted to do! You’re welcome. It’s a heavyweight race between 3 people movers with different powertrains - ICE vs EV vs PHEV. The heaviest one here weighs over 2.8 tonnes (even without occupants). How much power do you need to fight the inertia at the starting line? Watch it now on our YouTube!
