My Bridal Portraits 🤍🥂 Long Post w/ Special Thank You’s!

Listen…I was determined to be one of the least stressed brides ever. This moment was too sacred for me to spend it consumed by pressure. Before anything else, this day represented a covenant before God and the beginning of a new chapter with my husband. I wanted to be fully present for every moment. The day was perfect 🥹🙏🏾

A special thank you to my daughter @taiinsane and her friend @ty.nisa_ , both @scadfashiondesign students, who helped bring my vision to life. When I told them I wanted something classic and timeless, they found a photo of Diana Ross on her wedding day in 1985 and I couldn’t unsee it! See my story for the inspo photo!

From that moment forward, we carefully curated each piece and had them customized to modernize the look and make it my own! To @gizzellejamescouturiere, thank you for your incredible craftsmanship, attention to detail, patience, and commitment to executing the vision. Every custom touch reflected excellence🙌🏽, and I am forever grateful 🙏🏾🫶🏽

To my son, @tvistian thank you for walking me down the aisle and for the love, strength, and grace you showed throughout the day. Sharing that moment with you is a memory I will cherish forever 🤍

To my glam team— @datchineegyal @_hairbytaria @nailsby.hao thank you for helping me feel beautiful while still feeling like myself!🫶🏽

And to my photographer Shakira @dreamlens.atl, thank you for capturing these moments with such precision and care 🙌🏽 The images you created are beyond anything I imagined and will be treasured for years to come.🫶🏽

As I reflect on this season, I’m reminded of something I hope every woman knows: You do not have to become someone else to step into your next chapter. You do not have to conform to the expectations of family, friends, or the world around you. The greatest confidence comes from embracing who God created you to be and having the courage to walk boldly in His purpose for your life. Honor your journey. Trust His timing. And never be afraid to choose the path that is right for you!😘

SN: Ain’t my husband FINNeee y’all 😝😍💍🥂

Part 1

Memory is how we recall , remember, reconnect, & recognize our world around us ; we see memory through people, moments, experiences, smell, sound hearing & it’s a insane thing to grasp knowing that our memory could lead us to a place of a feeling & time we once felt a nostalgia how our brains take memory & begin toying dreams in our sleep and how our memory is the most powerful precious thing we could carry until death.

Part 2

Photography has always fascinated me. Taking pictures of a places, friends, family a moment I capture in time that will always exist in the past through present. My fascination of a moment capturing & turning moments into life through clothes & memorial restoration. Life that is stitched and that travels through words that stretch & carry story that could be explained and retold over again through perception. An Artistic bond of high quality memories to photo to fabrication & life through clothing is what PARTI is to bring to you.

“What did I miss?”
Maybe everything.
Maybe nothing.
Maybe I’ve just been busy walking in answered prayers.

The first half of 2025 has felt like the kind of chapter I used to only pray for, the quiet moments of progress, little wins stacking in silence, and a whole lot of grace covering the gaps I couldn’t fill myself. Glory to God almighty for bringing me this far. I haven’t made it yet, not even close, this is just the beginning.

To my friends, those who’ve been beside me, those I’ve drifted from, and even the ones who silently cheer me on, thank you. Truly. Your presence, support, and even your absence have all played a role. Let this be a living testimony that God sees our efforts, even when it starts with the tiniest bit of faith.

Wherever you are, start something.

Just start. At least that’s the constant lesson i’ve been getting the past 7 months

And as you move, don’t forget:
Put on the full armor of God. I really didn’t get it until last week

— Ephesians 6:10–17 (NIV)

ANDDD WHERE EVER YOU ARE IN LIFE , ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE GUYS ARE GOOD‼️~ kc3

Beyond grateful for the wins, losses, lessons, and opportunities that this academic year has brought me. The more that I learn, I am pushed as an artist. So is my drive to accomplish my goals as a person and designer. To anyone questioning themselves or their talent please note that all GOOD things take time.🤍

Yours truly Ms.D.B.D😉
