@tailwaggerspets is my *favorite* place to spend money at…doesn’t matter if it’s the West Hollywood, Larchmont Village, or Hollywood location. They cover all of my hound needs.

The deals & prices are fantastic for my human’s wallet, the staff is always so helpful & complimentary (ask for Luca while you’re here—best booty scratches in the game!), the products are clean & reliable, & my nose gets such a good workout while roaming around the store!

Bonus game: snatch a bone/treat from the shelves & make your owner put it on your tab at the end. I’m *really* good at that game! I tagged @naturalfarmpet ‘s best product to do this with (in my opinion) & if you want to match my vibe— @purebites makes some *fine* freeze dried smelt!

Have you been here? Favorite treats? Best purchase you’ve found here? Made any lifelong pals??

Thanks for roaming with me!

This is Emmy. She lived on Skid Row filthy and urine soaked until one day she was hit by a car resulting catastrophic injuries. It’s too gnarly of story to tell in detail but @startswithonetoday jumped to the rescue. They asked @thetailwaggersfoundation to help and we jumped in. Emmy is now safe and happy and in the future she deserved!

Get Enchanted at the 61st Larchmont Family Fair, Sunday, Oct. 25

Come get enchanted! 🧚 The Larchmont Family Fair, our neighborhood’s biggest community celebration, returns Sunday, October 25, from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on Larchmont Boulevard.
This year’s fantasy theme reads like a storybook: a Fantasy Reading presented by Chevalier’s Books, Meet the Fairies, a Dragon Alley, a costume contest, children’s bands, face painting, games, and rides. Witch characters will be strolling the boulevard too, so come in costume! 🐉

Admission is free. Ride tickets are $2 each, sold only at the fair.
Organized by the Larchmont Boulevard Association since 1965, the fair supports beautification on the boulevard, and there’s still time for local businesses and organizations to sign up for booths and sponsorships.

Thank you to our 2026 sponsors so far: Alfred Coffee, Benjamin A. Geller, DDS, Color Me Mine, Hancock Homes Realty Group, Hancock Park Homeowners Association, Larchmont Buzz, Larchmont Pediatrics, Larchmont Village Investors/Metropolitan Holding, Levain Bakery, Loveland Carr Group, Max & Helen’s, POLAM Credit Union, State Farm, Suá Superette, Tailwaggers, and Wilshire Escrow.

Couldn’t waste more time; it was brunch o’clock! 🐶🍹🐾
I really did leave the shoes though .. at the resort.. 😅 We were somehow surprised that Palm Springs was hotter than Arizona! So day time outings with the dogs did require shoes. 👠

What shoes do your dogs wear? We normally use @sparkpawsofficial’s shoes because they’re cute and have the Velcro straps to keep the shoes on (although @gigithechinesecrestie can get anything off 😅). Thankfully, @tailwaggerspets in Palm Springs had a few shoes options for us to choose from. For @blizziemcflurrie, we got @alcottgear’s adventure boots. Gigi got @goo_eez Lite Boots which were really cool since you use the tube that they come in to put the booties on! The veterinarian in me is always concerned about preventing foot burns since the concrete can be soooo much hotter than the temperature. Living in the desert, you either don’t let the dogs walk on the ground during the day or you teach them to wear shoes! 🤷🏽‍♀️🐾👏🏽 #palmspringslife #dogboutique #dogshoes #veterinarianlife
