Despite my current circumstances, we still get the job done 💪🏽✨ Over the past few weeks, @take6prod and I have been working on our own rendition of the GAP x KATSEYE campaign filmed by the @_zenobiakelley and edited by me. Huge thank you to our dancers and team for their patience, dedication, and creativity throughout this process. Grateful to lead a team that always finds a way to make it happen 🤍🎬

Here’s the official trailer for Who’s Next?— a dance short film I had the honor of choreographing in tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick A. Boseman in tandem with 5 other fabulous Howard University Dance Majors. This work is a love letter to his impact on all of us within the College of Fine Arts.

I wanted to take a moment to reshare because tomorrow we’ll be showing the film once again as part of the Annual Owen Dodson ‘Weenie’ Awards in the Ira Aldridge Theater. Hope to see you there as we continue to honor the artistry, strength, and spirit he left behind.

If you’d like to keep following along with our journey you can follow us at @take6prod!

So excited to finally welcome you all into the world of Take 6 Productions!

I’m currently serving as Head of Creative Development and had the honor of choreographing our very first project, Who’s Next? This piece came straight from the heart — built through collaboration, trust, and storytelling through movement. It’s currently being shown at private screenings across D.C., and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s coming next. Being part of the inaugural Disney Storytellers Fund cohort at Howard made this experience even more meaningful. Grateful is an understatement — and we’re only getting started!
