I spent 13 years on-and-off to get my degree. I attempted college five times. Spent six years in the Air Force. I failed multiple times to find my path, and life just taking me out of school at various times.

I hope anyone who reads this knows that whatever you’re aiming for can be accomplished as I never thought some years back that I’d actually give it another chance. I was on the “scenic route”, but I wouldn’t change a thing because it’s made me a much more prepared person for this next step into becoming a teacher.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my family and friends who supported me along the way. I didn’t think I was going to get emotional at the end, but when I saw my son waving to me from the crowd and my family all there just filled me with such gratitude. I can’t express what you all mean to me 🩶
