Meet our Social chairs: Tala Samandar and Lily Coenen! Tala is a Junior Chemical Engineering major from Cypress, TX! Lily is a Senior Forensic Science major from Houston, TX!🥳💗

“I could not be more excited to be serving as one of the social chairs this year!! AZX has given me so much support and has made my experience at Texas A&M truly special. Whether we’re planning a social, date party, or tailgate, we’re motivated to create unforgettable memories for our lovely members. I’m constantly looking forward to creating a stronger community across the A&M campus, and allowing our girls to be themselves.” - Tala

“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to be co-social chairs with Tala this year! I love this position because it allows our girls the chance to grow connections with external organizations while still strengthening our internal connection together. Some of my best memories in college have been through AZX, and I am so excited to be one of the people that brings these experiences to our girls as well! I’m looking forward to this semester with our girls and all the exciting things we have planned!” - Lily

We are so thankful to have Tala and Lily serve as this year’s social chairs and can’t wait to see what super fun events they have in store for us🫶

Meet Junior Tala Samandar, MC Fall ‘25, as she shares why AZX became her home!!! 🌟

“I cannot begin to express how much of a blessing it was to join AZX. Not only did I find my place at Texas A&M, but I also found a lifelong sisterhood. Throughout recruitment, I met so many genuine girls who made me feel welcomed into this organization. I knew immediately I had found my home. I am beyond grateful to have met the people I can proudly call my best friends!” 🤍
