my first event back home, back at the root of my inspiration 🪻 from having all of the serve-ware be from mama and teta, getting the produce from my khalo’s farm, flowers from teta’s garden she handpicked for me, dyeing an up-cycled fabric with leftover beetroot from lunch and turning that into the coolest lamp, everything was so intentional and fun; expressing rather than performing. I had the best time and I can’t wait to host you all again soon x

hellooo everyone💌 my name is tala ( @talasplate ), I started my culinary journey in London but have now made my way back home 🫶🏻

seeing as starting a supper club was always inspired from lunches at tetas, I wanted to dedicate this first post to her and to my beautiful Lebanon. I’m sure many of you can agree that one of our love languages is food; where every dish is a labour of love, passing plates down the table, cutting fruit for someone without them asking, or mama making something for you just because you mentioned you craved it the other day. I wanted to extend this beyond just afternoons in Aley, and started a supper club with my dear friend in London @albaaelena @tete.a.tete.dining ✨
i’m very excited to be back home and cook for you all here! I’ll be sharing my favorite moments soon but take a look @tete.a.tete.dining for previous events and menus xx can’t wait to feed you all🍴

Hey everyone 💫 I (Tala) write this with a very heavy heart..
As some of you may have noticed, we’ve been a little quiet for some time now. I‘ve been struggling to renew my visa and have been trying to figure it all out, but unfortunately I have to leave London in a couple of weeks ❤️‍🩹

This is not a - the end of tête-à-tête - post! Alba will still continue hosting events and taking private bookings to keep this community alive!
And I’ll still be there, from somewhere else for now.

I’d still love to share all the yummy things I get into during this new chapter on @teetoeats and keep up with all of you!

Starting a supper club and bringing people together through food has been a dream come true, regardless of now having to leave my home of the past 4 years.

Thank you for being part of one of my favorite chapters of my life. Thank you for trusting and supporting us. I’m very grateful and have so much love for all of you❣️

happy 1 year anniversary of tête-à-tête!! 🥹

Can’t quite believe that it’s been exactly one year since we were sat on Tala’s living room floor at 3 am, ironing napkins and making our own flower arrangements before our first ever supper club.

It’s honestly been the craziest year and neither of us would have expected our little idea to become something this big. We’ve always loved bringing people together through food and building this community has been the most beautiful experience.

Thank you for all your support, for showing up to our events, for making friends and making all the hard work worth it! Thank you to all the amazing brands we’ve gotten to work with, to all the photographers, small businesses, venues and staff who made it all possible 💕 huge thanks to our friends who showed up to every single event, working countless hours to support us! Getting to create something you love with your best friend is the best experience ever, highly recommend taking a risk and following your dream as it will all pay off <33
