What. a. God. What a God we serve. This week I got to experience God move in so many peoples life. But not just other people mine to. How good our God is that we get to live another day and live it for Him. I couldn’t imagine what life would be without Him.

One thing the pastor said this week was “God sees things you can’t, and know things you don’t.” If something isn’t in Gods plan for you and you keep holding onto it, it will bring you sorrow. Nothing will ever bring you true Joy but Jesus. No matter how much happiness other things or people bring you, NOTHING will bring you more Joy than giving Jesus your life. Not just some of your life, all of it. You can’t hold onto to something if it isn’t from God. The thought of He choose to die on the cross for you and me. He chose to suffer so you could live eternally with Him in heaven. Be all in for Jesus.

People will always fail you, but you have an everlasting God with everlasting love and you were made for more! You may not understand His plan for you, but trust it, He knows greater! He will always love you no matter what you do, because that’s who He is to us, so good.

“Come lay your broken dreams at the altar
And every victory at the altar
Fear and anxiety cannot live here
There's no waste at the altar
Let your heart sing out and tell Him you love Him
Don't make it perfect, just let it be honest
He can use anything, sit back and watch Him
There's no waste at the altar”

“On gangy we are so excited for next year” See you in 2026 Caswell!

OH MY GOSHHHH!!!! Spirit of God was seriously felt this week. Be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. We can make a difference in the world unless we are different, so don't be afraid to shine your light for God and praise him! part 2 coming fellas😉

This week our leadership team went to FCA Leadership Camp in Black Mountain, NC. We spent the week meeting new people, having friendly competition, praising God, and learning so much! God moved in so ways this week and we pray He continues to move in our school! We are all so thankful for having this opportunity and can’t wait to bring what we learned back to school this year! Thank you to our sponsors and everyone that supports Iredell County FCA!

Thank you baseball.
Words can’t express what I feel right now, to become so attached to a sport that I only started playing 4 years ago, I don’t know how it happened. All the pieces just kind of fell in place, then all of a sudden I was a baseball player. A really bad one at the time, but there was something about it I couldn’t find anywhere else. See baseball is a lot less athleticism and a lot more skill, it’s a sport where you will fail majorly more than you succeed, especially as a hitter. Baseball taught me how to deal with life when it sucker punches you in the nose and then kicks you on the ground. When you feel like everything’s crashing down, the sun rises again tomorrow. My goal my entire time of playing was to play college ball, unfortunately I couldn’t make the cut. It’s easy to say “what if I had _ more years” and I hear it all the time about if I “would’ve just kept playing as a kid,” but I think it was just right. It gave me a chip on my shoulder that lit a fire in me making the competitive, go-getter, tooth & nail fightin’ me that I know today. Gods plan for me doesn’t end anywhere near here, the game of baseball was just a life lesson. Even the pros have to hang it up at some point, it’s just a hard goodbye. To all my brothers playing college ball, enjoy it. I’d love more than anything to have the opportunity that you do, don’t let it go by too fast. To the people who have supported me in my career, I can’t thank you enough. Even just showing up to my games for me to pinch hit or pinch run means more than you could know. I just hope the next person who wears 8 brings the same grit and energy that I brought, can’t be tarnishing the 8car family name. (@graysonchapman) I won’t be settling down anytime soon either, I’ll find something wether that’s pickleball, mma, or golf, you’ll find me doing something somewhere. I love y’all endlessly, call me if you need me #8out #goredhawks
