$I can’t help but feel profound gratitude for the incredible people in my life. Their intelligence, warmth, and generosity have made this year unforgettable, and I am humbled by the constant kindness and love that I have felt from the people I consider my home. This year has been filled with so many unexpected blessings and I remain appreciative for every single one of them. To my family and friends, my sister @taliaschwartzz and my love @grant_kaufman whose love and unwavering support have given me the confidence and stability I can always rely on. I hope, in some way, I can emulate even a fraction of the comfort and happiness you have given me. Your influence is present in everything I do. It’s really hard to be away from so many people that I love so I am so thankful for your support while I am here in Israel. It is such a privilege to be in Israel and I feel like I’m walking among the memories of my ancestors. I’m surrounded by the history of the Jewish people and I cannot help but feel the weight and the joy of the generations before me. Judaism is alive here, vibrant and unyielding, and my love for it is boundless and so integrated into who I am. I am grateful for who I am today, for the lessons I am still learning, and for the people in my life. And as Rabbi Yehoshua said: ‎אמר רבי יהושע בן לוי למה נמשלו ישראל לזית לומר לך מה זית אין עליו נושרין לא בימות החמה ולא בימות הגשמים אף ישראל אין להם בטילה עולמית לא בעוה”ז ולא בעולם הבא. Why is Israel said to be like the olive tree? To tell you that just as the leaves of an olive tree do not fall during the summer nor during the rainy season, so Israel will never cease to be, not in this world nor in the hereafter. For my family ‎עם ישראל חי$
