Thank you for joining our June signature event, the Running Tour of LGBSQ out of @citylitbooks! LGNSQ is bilingual photography book about the people, local businesses, and public spaces of Logan Square. We traced over 3.5 miles of this neighborhood with guide @gbmcgann, who thoughtfully showcased some of the public art, businesses, and community spaces featured in the book. Thanks so much to author @tanzerben for joining us! Huge s/o to our partners @bffbikes for developing and leading a bike version of this route so cyclists could also enjoy. After the route, we devoured the @panartesanalchicago pastries (a business that was also featured in LGNSQ!). 🤗 Huge gratitude as always to volunteer team @hurdlexcat, @gorky081295, @cynthxchen, and @tahnee_runs_on_donuts . Interested in learning more? 👉 Check out the book at your local @chicagopubliclibrary branch! NEXT UP ➡️ Our next signature event is on Sunday, July 12 In Englewood with @tonikaj inspired by her book, Don’t Go. Tickets release in the June 29 newsletter. Tap the link in bio to subscribe and get first dibs!

Hi Facebook fam! Some of you know me and what’s up, but for those who don’t I want to share with you my upcoming SUP & Paddle Surf Retreat scheduled for May 2-9 in Nosara! This pre-season event is perfect for those who love paddling, surf, the water and ocean. I have just a few more spots open and one of them can be yours! Whether you want to improve your technique, build confidence in different waters - surf and ocean, are ready to get back in paddling shape for summer, or just want to catch waves on a SUP in warm, clear waters you’re in for a memorable empowering experience! What makes my retreats unique is that I’ve built in some additional pieces like movement and well-being that complement the time on the water paddling and surfing. This is NOT for brand new paddlers, but you don’t have to be a pro or competitive paddler to attend. Pricing options for single or double room, and is all-inclusive minus airfare (May is after high season so better deals😉) and 3 meals. You’ll be staying in the heart of Nosara, just a short walk to the water and other local shops and spots. I have a lot of content on my pages with info about the retreat - visit @stand_and_paddle or @paddle_racer. You can also visit https://www.standandpaddle.com/may2026 for info and booking. To book DM me or visit the link above. Rachel #standuppaddling #supsurfing #paddlesurfing #standuppaddle #retreat
