Let’s switch it with Carriage Pull-Ups! A little deep core, some shoulder sizzle and hip flexion in one juicy sequence 💦

Spring Guide 🔗 Pop on blue, intermediate? Add on a yellow too. To progress? Green is for you!

Now to set up: Grab those rails, climb up and stack your shoulders over your wrists, knees sit under your hips. Now that’s your foundation; pull up the carriage to feel the resistance of your springs kick in.

✔️ Hip flexion → Think knees to wrists. Your knees have the intention here is to keep the shoulders stable as you pull that carriage in. Elongate your neck and brace through your core.

✔️Shoulder extension → Don’t release the carriage, and now let’s switch focus to shoulders. We want to be steady and controlled in this movement rather than feeling like we’re dragging. This is about strength through the shoulders, not momentum.

✔️Alternating leg extension → Now the fun part! Load-bear through the carriage knee, keep those hips even. Lift and extend your leg back; have energy and intention through your extended leg ( bonus points if you point that toe). The challenge is keeping the hips and shoulders still while one leg moves. You’ll feel resistance in this one.

🌈 Rainbow leg → The final advancement. Maintain hip flexion in the stabilising leg as the gesture leg rainbows over the carriage and back. Extended leg stays strong, toes pointed, quad engaged, glute squeezed.

Throughout, we want your chest lifted, shoulders broad, a slight tuck of the chin to keep the neck long and tension-free.

This one is thanks to Carla! Have you tried her class? Book in this week!

Online Client Spotlight. 👀 12 Month progress Pics

@tamara.djeric_ has been working with me now just over 12 months and we have focused on structured strength training and getting her stronger. Taken her deadlifts from 95kg for reps to 130Kg for reps.

In that time we have overhauled her nutrition intake from a standard typical fitness industry eating carbs at every meal and completely going in the direction of a higher protein and moderate fat based diet.

Yes you can still build and make strength gains and muscle gains on a Carnivore diet.

Strength Up ⬆️
Fat mass down ⬇️
More Muscle 💪

If you are sick of going round in circles and not feeling your best, reach out and let’s get you body transformation started.

It only took me 43 years of my life to finally understand that everything in this picture has all a human needs to obtain your best health and energy for your life.

To improve your gut health you need lot of this type of fat, you definitely need don’t need fibre.

To improve body composition you need to eat lots of protein, how much you say?? Stop believing an app to give you the answers and start listening to your hunger cues correctly.

To have fantastic energy and performance you need to remove all the anti-nutrients in from all plant matter, grains and hidden seed oils from your life. Removing all fibre, and carbs gives you your life back and your energy is just unreal.

Eat meat and eggs every meal only when you are truly hungry and watch your health improve, your energy return and your body fat vanish.

It’s not rocket science but we have been told all our lives that we need balance and variety and it’s just not the case.

Don’t fall for the hype about carbs.

8 years. A full cycle of life — and yes, we have aged! ✨

When I founded Project DAO back in 2017, I could never have imagined the community we would become: a hub for holistic healthcare, trusted for chronic and complex health challenges, and known for the care we extend to each person who walks through our doors.

As so many of you have said:

“The moment I walk into the clinic, I feel instantly better — it’s a true sanctuary for healing.”

That’s what it has been for me too. Despite all the challenges the clinic has brought, every time I step inside, I also feel instantly better.

It is my greatest honour to have stood the test of time and to stand by you — holding you in your healing journey, from acne flares to cancer support, from toe infections to phantom pain.

💛 Thank you for your trust and love over these 8 years.
💛 Thank you to every practitioner who has served this community at DAO.

To celebrate, we’d love to share the love of DAO healing with our Birthday Special but if for now, share with us your favourite DAO moment! I wanna reminisce with you all~~~~💛💛💛🎉
With gratitude and love,
Yanan, Founder of Project DAO.

These 3️⃣ mistakes which I have done over the years and I see others do can really hinder your progress.

There is no such thing as perfection, focus on being as consistent as you can and do what you can with the time you have.

As the saying goes better is better, more is not better.

If you can’t recover you can’t train hard.

If you can’t improve with progressive overload every session, then you’re not improving. Take some time out, recover, come back stronger.

Stop fucking changing the exercises, stick to your program and make sure it has the basic movement patterns in there and just get fucking strong.
