Happy Easter Weekend to you all.

A failed promo blooper, Some April Happenings coming super soon, Brussels footage, a meme and a band rehearsal video blooper. All to say..

April 10th- I’m hitting with my brothers in Jacob Wilson, Tom Sheen, Luke Bacchus and Jack Thomas at the Crypt in Camberwell. We’re going to be playing a mix of some lesser played standards and some of our original material. Going to be a great time. I hope to see you there at one of my favourite venues in South East London.

Big thank you to Mr Occomore and @beth_a_hopkins for having us super looking forward to it.

April 16th- Breen and Boizi at the Jazz Sanctuary in Twickenham. We had a great time at MAP last month and I really do love this band. We’ve got Oscar Brady and Tom Sheen hitting with us this time around going to be a gas!!

April 25th- I’m buzzing to say the sextet is back at Brick Lane this year. This is honestly one of my favourite festivals and I’m super privileged to be able to bring my band back, we’ll be playing at 91 Living Room at 3pm Sharp. The band will be the usual culprits with Sultan Stevenson joining for this hit. See you there!

Big thank you to the Adam, @yemicsawyerr and the entire Jazz Refreshed team for having us back, we played at 91 last year can’t wait to do it all over again.

All ticket links and info in the bio and on the website, if you prefer that.

God Bless!

Tami (@txami.a) is an artist who currently studies architecture. The main themes she likes to explore in her work are culture, race and Christianity.

On this first slide is a piece called ‘iro iro iro’ which explores guilt and shame, the effects of a misunderstanding of God’s omnibenevolent nature.

‘As a child of God, honouring Him in my art is so important. He’s the original creator who has blessed me with this gift and, especially with the next paintings I plan to create, I want my work to be a form of worship, and a form of evangelism - start conversations about him’ -Tami

As a British-born Nigerian, maintaining and honouring her heritage is imperative. She enjoys studying her culture and history in order to create pieces.

In developing her artistic style, Tami has been able to try a variety of mediums but has a special love for oil paintings. She says:

‘I love the entire process, from sketching to mixing paints to underpainting to final details. Conceptualising is also such a beautiful process. I get inspired from my experiences, my quiet time studying the word and writing poetry.’

Keep an eye on her evolving style and upcoming projects, as Tami continues to create pieces that not only captivate the eye but also speak to the spirit.
