Weekend Recap 🌟

Labor Day Weekend and the streets were HOT… literally and figuratively. 😂

Here’s this week’s live report from the streets:

• Sean and I kicked things off by trying somewhere new for happy hour and @tandecraftkitchen was calling our name! A hidden Thai gem tucked inside @grandscapetx with all the vibes. Thursdays = bites + $10 sangrias and honestly… say less. 😏🍷

• My texts were blowing up and apparently the salon was calling. 😂 So naturally, a haircut was booked and @lemusjenni did me SOOOO good. New hair, who dis?! ✨

• We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month at @kaleidoscopeparktx and they came READY! The food was flowing, @sooofreshy had the piñas, and the music had everybodyyyy on the dance floor. 💃🏽

• Wrapped up the long weekend with the final regular season game for the @friscoroughriders! ⚾️ But don’t get sad just yet because WE’RE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS BABYYYYY!

• ANDDDD @universalkidsresort popped up at the game and @thefinleygirls got to meet Sandy Cheeks from SpongeBob! 🐿️🥹 Now how am I supposed to explain to these kids that we’re NOT going to @universalkidsresort immediately?! 😂 A trip may officially be in our future? 👀

Not every restaurant can be an 8 or a 9… and that’s okay. 🤷🏽‍♀️

This month’s Dinner Club took us to Tande Thai, and while the vibes were a 10, the free valet was a win, and the conversations were everything… the food was just mid. 😭

But one thing about me? I’m not giving up. As a Texas native surrounded by Texas transplants who swear Dallas has no good food, I’m determined to prove them wrong—one restaurant at a time. Every cuisine deserves a fair chance, and I’ll keep searching until we find the hidden gems.
