POV: you’re on a mission to help your itchy little bestie feel better

Chewie has struggled with skin issues for a while, so we’re focusing on the foundations: nutrition, gut health and immune support.

We’re starting with possum as his main protein source, some targeted supplements and a whole lot of learning along the way.

I’ll be doing more of a deep dive into why we chose each product later on in the series 🫶

Welcome to Healing Chewie 🫶

If I’m being honest, I hesitated a long time before sharing these parts of our journey. It’s so easy to look at social media and feel like everyone else has it all figured out! Comparison is a b*tch. I didn’t always want to show the redness, the frustration, or the days that felt like we weren’t getting anywhere.

But then I realised, if I’m feeling this way, chances are others are too. Most people only show you the happy highlights, but what about the real stuff? The messy, slow, sometimes exhausting parts.

That’s our why. We’re doing this because no one should feel alone in this. If sharing our journey helps just one other person feel less confused, less isolated, or more hopeful, then every vulnerable post is worth it!

For a long time we’ve been trying our best to manage Chewie’s skin and a fair share of ear infections. Now we’re taking a deeper look into nutrition, gut health, and everything that can help him from the inside out.

This space won’t be full of quick fixes or before and after miracles. It will be full of us, the good days, the hard days, and everything in between.

We’re so grateful to have these incredible brands we trust walking this road with us.

✨We have some very exciting news ✨Max is officially a @tandempet ambassador! 🐾💛

Honestly this one feels extra special because Tandem has been part of Max’s life for the past 2 years, long before we ever dreamed we’d be sharing this news🥹

These photos are a little trip down memory lane of some of the Tandem products Max has loved along the way, I think it’s pretty safe to say he’s been a fan for a while! To now officially be part of the Tandem family feels like such a full circle moment 🥰

We’re so excited for everything to come and can’t wait to share more of our Tandem journey with you! 💛 and the best part is we now have a code to share for all your orders 🏷️MAX 🥹

If you’ve followed Max for a while, you’ll know that calm isn’t exactly his strong suit 😂

As an excitable, easily overstimulated Staffy, he has always felt EVERYTHING at 100% excitement, visitors, noises, new place and even the possibility of someone opening the fridge 😂

So when we were given the opportunity to be part of the @tandempet Calm+Chill trial, we honestly didn’t know what to expect.

Fast forward a few months… and the difference has been incredible🥹🩷

It’s not about changing who Max is, he’s still our goofy, chaotic, cuddly little house hippo 🦛 but he’s much better at regulating himself, settling at home and coming back down after getting overstimulated.

Watching him learn how to actually switch off has been pretty amazing.

We’ve seen the difference first hand and we couldn’t be more grateful that Max got to be part of this journey 🐾💗

From 100% Staffy chaos → a little more calm, a little more chill 😂

We’ve been trialling the new super blend from @tandempet called Calm+Chill and some of the results have blown my mind 🤯

While it’s hard to measure things like reactivity, I think since we’ve been adding Calm+Chill into her diet, Nala seems calmer and happier in herself.

But it’s not just my dogs - some of the other owners in the group with me have seen incredible results - not being scared of the car anymore, confidence around new people, reduced fear to loud noises like fireworks 🎆

You all know I love @tandempet because of their extensive research and trialling that goes into every product. If it’s not top quality, then it’s not going into their tins.

And this is one I’ll be recommending time & time again (in fact, I’ve been desperately waiting for it to come out so I can tell you about it!).

Available now @tandempet - use code WCB for a cheeky discount!
