Back with another custom bag 💼 this is time it’s a Birkin ! This entire bag is hand stitched 🧵 using waxed thread 🪡. The leather is an veg tan embossed cow shoulder. I cut and hand dye the veg tan leather strap. Lmk if you’re looking for a custom one , I got you 😉

All leather was obtained from Tandy leather.

Tl:dr- Comment below with what kind of sword i should make next.

I just completed the prettiest sword I have ever made. Late 13th, early 14th hand and a half. (Scent stopper pommel is anachronistic, I know) Single fuller, lenticular blade cross section. San mai blade with 15n20 outer and 80crv2 core. (Steel from @nj_steelbaron ) Hand forged guard and pommel, (etching done by @blacksmith.kmg ) and a wood core leather wrapped scabbard.

This pushed me, but I am really really proud of the work. Currently on its way to a private owner.

We've reached our 1 year anniversary!!!

It is crazy to me that its been a full rotation around the sun working on these projects, meeting all of you, and building something that feels truly mine.

This has been an incredible journey and experience. I've learned so much. I've had so much fun. And I'm really looking forward to seeing how this next year shapes up.

I recently took a leather working class for the first time at Tandy Leather in Queens! It was really lovely and I learned a lot. We used vegetable tanned leather, punched holes, cut out the journal cover shape and its edges, stamped a design, dyed it, installed eyelets, and strung everything together. #diy #leathercraft #nyc

After a whole lot of cutting, gluing, taping, painting, and sewing, I’m done! I really love how this bag turned out and right after I finished filming this last video I ran off to a party to give it to my friend and they adore it!

I wanna give a special shout out to the staff at @tandyleatherqueens, y’all helped me find the right leather, suede, and paint for this project—on top of giving me some super helpful tips about how to put this bag together! The walking foot machine came in clutch to help me finish this project too! Thanks so much!
