cottagecore vacation unlocked. we absolutely adore Maritime Canada. the magic of this trip was hard to beat. hearing Japanese one day, the next French. thrifting gods smiling down with perfect cotton pants and wool sweaters. swimming white sands beaches. eating plums with the windows down. birds with a room of their own. special coffee shops and bakeries inspired by old general stores. the garden of my dreams in the rain. kind people even though we are american. epic colors on the ground (not trees) as summer transmuted to fall. folk cat sign was purchased to scare and delight for years to come

@tangledgarden is one of the most magical places I’ve ever been. This garden is layered with texture, untidy in the best way with plants spilling into the many paths, fairytale built spaces like a tea hut and living roof pavilion, surprises around every corner, water features—all of it— make it a world unto its own.

It is the secret garden of my dreams come to life. It’s also a beautiful example of how long land projects take to form, this one 35 years in the making. Thank you to the creators and stewards of this amazing garden.

This cutie little elopement with @eastcoastpopupweddings truly filled my cup last week. 🥹

The sweetest two, a thrifted wedding gown, the cutest little blue open-toed shoes, and an afternoon spent frolicking around @tangledgarden together.

It all felt a little bit like a fairy tale, in the most effortless way. I had so much fun capturing these two and all the sweetness of their day.
