Well that’s a wrap!!
The 2026 @tahoelitfest was beyond my expectations.
Excellent presenters and programs.
Lots of learning, listening, laughing and lots of books getting sold.
Thank you @theunderstorybookshop for selling out Chasing Nirvana!!

Special thanks to Katherine Hill @tahoecityevents and , @jeff.brunings for all the hard throughout the year to bring this to reality.

And to the volunteers who moved tables, introduced people and helped navigate the ship and the venues that opened their door to make this an event possible- thank you.

To the attendees that showed up and there were several hundreds of them- we thank you for recognizing the importance of arts & culture in Tahoe.
I am profoundly grateful to this community.
More to come…
xoxo

A Truckee filled weekend starting Thursday with a lovely bike ride, my new favorite dog and coffee with a friend. Then the reading of Whalespeak at the open mic at the Alibi ( thank you Nevada county poet laureate Karen Terry! @tangledrootswriting for inviting me) And back to Truckee on Sunday for PORCHFEST! 18 bands and 8 poets. It was so fun to see kids riding the streets on their bikes, swinging in trees, on swings, having the times of their lives. It was a family affair! (I seem to have lost my photos of the bands and all the dancing!)
