Our team had the pleasure of attending the Hartlepool Business Forum Awards last week, where we were proud to sponsor the Best Digital Business Award. 🖥️🏆

Congratulations to Tanglewood Games, who were presented the award on the night by Partner and Head of Property Disputes, Richard Flounders. It was fantastic to celebrate the achievements of so many successful businesses from across Hartlepool and to see their hard work, innovation and commitment recognised. We were delighted to support such a great event and recognise the outstanding businesses helping to drive our region forward. 👏

It was also wonderful to spend the evening with our guests and those from BTG Begbies Traynor, and we look forward to seeing the businesses involved continue to grow and succeed in the future.

Congratulations to Oscar Hong, a student on our Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT, who recently showcased his Games Development project to industry professionals from @tanglewoodgames

Oscar's work impressed the judging panel and was selected as the winning entry. The judging event allowed students to present their ideas, demonstrate their skills and receive valuable feedback from professionals working in the games industry.

Experiences like this help bring learning to life and give our students a real insight into future career opportunities.

A huge thank you to Olaf, Casey-Jo and Jake from has Tanglewood Games for supporting our learners and helping inspire the next generation of digital talent.

Tagged along with my husband's game studio to photograph something different - a Go Kart racing charity tournament hosted by @gamesaid_uk! It was a fun challenge to try to get crispy pictures of fast moving objects and glad I managed to capture some when a lot of the photos turned out like the last slide 🤣

Our brilliant BTEC Level 3 IT students faced a real-world challenge from @tanglewoodgames design and build a playable game.

Tanglewood said the results were “really impressive.”
Our IT team called it “a reflection of real-life industry practice.”

Congratulations to Cian Veart, winner of the challenge.
