🚢🚢🚢 Since we started The Good Ship Illustration at the start of 2020, we’ve been using one selfie, and a handful of iPhone photos 😅

…so today we treated ourself to a proper photoshoot! Weyyyyy.

LOOK at these glorious flags our @helenstephenslion made 🤩🤩🤩

There was also cake, cold sandy chips, excellent knitwear and headscarves. We had far too much fun.

We can’t waaaait to see the photos and share ‘em everywhere. Thank you @pictorial.photography for keeping us in order and making sure our shirts were tucked in 🤣

p.s. Our summer break is almost over and ART CLUB IS COMING BAAACK!

Orange and blue complementary colour palette making with @thegoodshipillustration check out their page and their classes for some colourful fun!

This might be one of my favourite colour palettes to doodle with. I typically use bright in your face colours but doodling with this palette made my work feel more mature almost- I like the way my doodles haven’t changed but the colour used gave the artwork a different feel.

Not to worry! We give you lifetime access so you can bask in each module for as loooong as you need to. We do 3 live calls per live round (the majority of the course is there for you to go through at a time that works for you) and when we *do* have a live thing, we record it so you can catch the replay 🥳. We’re worldwide-time-zone-friendly. We also provide closed captions for all of our videos *even* the live calls have a transcript.

YES! In fact, we think naivety is a superpower ✨ ✨ ✨ you do not need a formal qualification to join our course. There are creatives from all kinds of backgrounds who join in - from complete beginners to full-time creatives who want to boost their creative confidence and make work they feel really proud of.
