POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I let our AI race engineer coach me round Donington Park for a whole day.

This was our first test day with RaceLineApp.ai, and we went to answer one question. Can a phone coach a driver live, on a real circuit?

The answer was yes. We ran 15 sessions from a wet morning to a dry afternoon. The app spoke 1,108 cues in the car over 214 km. Every lap was recorded and synced to video, so every build gets better.

Jim Cameron joined us as a surprise. Jim is a racer, Nürburgring coach and the founder of Mission Motorsport, and he advises RaceLineApp. Having a real coach beside the driver, seeing what the app does and shaping it, was priceless. Mark was with us in spirit. His voice called every cue.

We built and shipped four updates in the paddock between sessions. By mid-afternoon our best lap was 6.3 seconds faster.

Next, we fine-tune every cue for the beta.

A pleasure to attend the @scottyscharity Ball at the weekend, celebrating an incredible charity and the lasting difference it makes across our military community.

It was inspiring to hear about the significant developments over the past year, particularly the expansion of Scotty’s support to anyone affected by a military connected bereavement.

Children and young people remain at the heart of Scotty’s Little Soldiers’ work, while support now also extends to adults, including parents, partners, siblings, adult children and colleagues.

From help understanding entitlements and accessing mental health support to opportunities for social connection and personal development, Scotty’s is ensuring that more people can access support from those who truly understand the military community.

Having served for 22 years, this is a cause especially close to my heart as remembering those we have lost also means continuing to care for the people they leave behind.

Huge congratulations to @tankslider on his appointment as Chair of Trustees and wishing you every success as you help guide Scotty’s through this next chapter.

Thank you to everyone who organised and supported the ball, and to the dedicated team whose work continues to make a difference long after the evening is over.

A special thank you to @kevgodlington and @emma.spicy.morgan for the invite and wonderful to see @nikkiscottsls @stazthrudark @louisthrudark and many others on the night.

Brilliant to see @tankslider safely back from his travels to Ukraine. He even brought me back a halo. 😆

We'll be on track at Donington in a couple of weeks so if you're about, come say hi!

Today’s @goodwoodrevival sketches - it’s a very lovely Maserati 300s and I carried on with the gorgeous Jaguar D Type. The latter is the 1955 Le Mans winning car. The former is just a stunner! Really nice to be sketching live once again, and people have been so nice and encouraging, and saying how good it is to have the scribbling vicar scribbling once again - it means a lot. Thank you.

I'm not saying that I've had an amazing Tuesday evening and Wednesday, but these are all the photos and video that I have taken.
Tuesday evening at @doningtonpark supporting @chrishoy1 charity @tour_de4, getting driven round the track by @jason_plato and @mattnealracing!!!
Then on Wednesday being given a factory tour of @rmlgroup and @plato.racing by @andywells91, his passion and enthusiasm is infectious.
Followed by lunch at @aviatorsywell and a look at the amazing cars coming up this weekend in the @iconicauctioneers Ockshun there.
The cherry on the cake was dropping off the Rancho front wing that @scmicksr2dc gave me, with @jonnycarpervert and having a lovely chat and a cuppa with him at @thelatebrakeshow HQ.

Made even better because I was with good friends, @advanced_performance_engineer and @tankslider

A truly amazing time.
