I truly never expected to experience a moment like this, let alone get to experience it on both sides. Standing in that ring with Lexi and realizing everything had come together is something I’ll never be able to put into words. I’m beyond thankful for every person who has supported me, pushed me, believed in me, and helped me get to this point. Getting to share this moment with my family makes it even more meaningful, and I’ll forever be grateful for the memories made along the way. Most of all, I thank God for blessing me with opportunities I never could have imagined and allowing me to experience something I’ll cherish forever. #teamshowrite

Winning the Iowa State Fair 4-H Meat Goat Show has been a dream of mine since I started 4-H, and I still can’t believe it came true. This moment means so much more than a win it represents years of hard work, sacrifices, and support from my family and everyone who helped me along the way. I’m so thankful for Henry and the bond we built. Being part of the Sale of Champions and breaking the record made this experience even more unforgettable. Most of all, I thank God for this opportunity and for blessing me with so many amazing people. #teamshowrite

“Some things don’t need a banner to prove what they are.”

Not every show ends with the result you hoped for, but that doesn’t take away from the work, the quality, or the memories that brought us here. I’m incredibly blessed for every opportunity I’ve had to show these heifers, and I’ll never take those experiences for granted. This FFA heifer show was about so much more than a banner. It was about the early mornings, the long days, the lessons, the people who helped along the way, and the memories made with these heifers. I couldn’t be more proud of what we put into these heifers and even more grateful for everything they’ve given me. I’ll always look back on this chapter with a full heart and so much pride in what we accomplished together.
