Lord of the Ropes is about community. Specifically the Midwest snowboarding community. We invite and gather riders from around the Midwest at @trollhaugentroll which in its own right is a legendary space to and for snowboarding. The head to head match ups introduce new riders to each. Then after that match they Judge the next round together. The practice of community and kinship is vital. As a great friend of mine said “it’s just snowboarding” and he was correct. It’s all important to us yet it’s an activity an art form and maybe not important at all!? These are the riders of 9 lives, the 9th installment of Lord of the Ropes. It was brought to us by great brands and people @capitasupercorp @unionbindingco @coalheadwear @volcomsnow @sheltersalesco @zombieboardshop and of course @trollhaugen_wi Thank you to the riders for coming and riding. You all rode hard and showed up! Thank you the brand’s and riders for supporting the culture and event.
