Where do I even start?

I’ve been playing hockey for 14 years of my life and it’s hard to believe it’s finally over. Hockey has been a huge part of who I am. Hockey taught me so much more than just the game. It taught me how to work hard, push through adversity, and never give up some very important life skills.

Over the years I’ve been able to travel to so many places that many people don’t get to go, meet amazing people, and play with teammates who became lifelong friends. Some of my best memories in life happened at the rink, in the locker room, on bus rides, and the people that have surrounded me throughout.

I can’t thank my parents and family enough for everything they’ve done for me. The early mornings, the late nights, the long drives, and always being there to support me no matter what. I truly wouldn’t have been able to do this without them.

I also want to thank the Lord for guiding me through this whole journey. I want to recognize those in my family who are no longer here but were always supporting me along the way. I always knew you were there supporting.

Even though this chapter is over, the memories, the friendships, and everything this game taught me will stay with me forever. Hockey gave me some of the best years of my life, and I’ll always be thankful I got to play the game I love for 14 years.

I’m excited to start the next chapter of my life and see where it takes me. I’ll always carry the lessons, memories, and friendships from hockey with me moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who has been by my side through it all. It hasn’t always been easy, but every moment was worth it.

Thank you.
I love you all ❤️ #46out #blessed #jesuslovesyou❤️
