last week was INSANE & this week may be MORE INSANE

one year in new york city & here are a few things i’ve learned along the way🗽

•biggest city in the nation and yet i see familiar faces around every corner

•never thought I was a creative person until I surrounded myself with passionate people

•uncomfortable moments are where you grow the most

•some of the kindest humans i have ever encountered live here. the stereotype is a lie

•community runs so much deeper than i ever expected

•you can cry anywhere lol

•nothing feels better than a sunny 70 degree day with sidewalks bustling and people sprawled throughout every park

•can learn new languages if you listen clearly

•it can be as cheap or as expensive as you want it to be

•the early morning hours are the best before the city wakes up and you’re alone with your thoughts

•you can have any food you’ve ever craved. ever.

•i have met people with the most unbelievable stories

• the 3am nights and the 7am alarms are not a mistake - they’re the whole reason i came here

year one. just getting started.
