🌟 SHORTS 1 – LOCAL LENS, a local triptych of short films exploring community and belonging through documentary and narrative storytelling. Don’t miss this lineup at this year’s Tallahassee Film Festival!

📍 Challenger Learning Center
🗓️ Friday, 10/09 @ 3:00pm
🎟️ Tickets can be purchased at the door or buy a pass at the link in our bio!

“Local Lens” highlights the work of local filmmakers whose stories reveal the many ways people find meaning through community. Spanning documentary and narrative filmmaking, this local triptych of short films is all about community and belonging, but approached through different cinematic forms. “Echoes of Smoke” is about a community lost but remembered, “Local Art Is Not A SCAM” is about a community actively creating together, and “The Nothing Club” is about a young person learning why community matters in the first place.

🎬 Featured Shorts & Guest Filmmakers:

ECHOES OF SMOKE - A film by Raniah Michelle Braclet

LOCAL ART IS NOT A SCAM - A film by Rob Yoho (The filmmakers Rob Yoho, Lanie Whitaker, and Nicole Davis are expected to be in attendance for a post-film discussion.)

THE NOTHING CLUB - A film by Tanner Hirten & Mickey Hirten. (Co-directors Tanner Hirten and Mickey Hirten, and casting director Elizabeth D’Amico are expected to be in attendance for a post-film discussion.)

Your favorite guidance counselor, Mr. Larmody, wishing you a happy first week of classes! 📚🍎

Here are a few of my favorite moments playing Larmody in The Nothing Club featuring @camrynostreet

Tan-Man Returns is now live on YouTube! A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this project come to life. Not only did I have the chance to premiere this film in IMAX, but it also won the audience choice award for Best Editing at @aquilaentertainment's 2026 Full Circle Film Festival! This film means a lot to me, as its the final entry in a franchise I've been producing since high school. I'm so glad I was able to make one more of these before I graduated. We had a lot of fun making this film and I hope you all have just as much fun watching it. Link is in my bio!
