🥳 6 years in and I finally finished my undergrad! The last 3 years were the quickest I’ve had in Cornwall! I learnt such amazing things from incredible people, and made some pretty extraordinary friends! 📸

Thank you to my parents for giving me a second chance to tackle university as I would not be where I am today without their support and this course! And thank you to my friends and family supported me at the event and far and wide ❤️

I’m sure I’m going to see everyone in one way or another over the next few years and maybe, hopefully working with you too! 🎉

Interwoven Exhibition.

This week I had the honour of being apart of the @interwoven_exhibition with 10 of the most creative photographers and filmmakers in Cornwall!

Being able to exhibit my work in the hometown of St. Ives was a dream, with friends, family and lecturers all coming along to support. I’m extremely proud of everyone as they got to show their work but also their character, being a tight knit group that put on an excellent show!

We managed to show our important stories in these troubled times which was an honour. However, the best is yet to come from this amazing group of photographers…. Look out for the future!!

what an experience!!

My heart is so full and I am so immensely grateful for this experience, it’s been the best.

To have been able to show my work, which has been so heavily shaped by these coastal landscapes I call home, in my childhood town of st Ives, in a beautiful place full of history has been incredible.

It’s been absolutely amazing to create a space full of hope, aspiration and togetherness with such incredibly talented, passionate, creative individuals. You guys are all epic and I am truly inspired by the effort and dedication each of you have shown in your projects. It has been amazing to collaborate and put on this exhibition together. I have made so many incredible memories over the last few days that I will hold close to my heart and treasure forever.

Thank you to everyone that has been a part of making this happen, and to everyone that came along. I feel so lucky to have been able to share this experience with my beautiful family and such lovely friends who have supported me and been part of this journey.

Sharing my work alongside the work of some of my closest friends with my family in my hometown has been so special.
It’s my family who have made me into the person I am today and for that I am so grateful. They have taught me what it means to love with your whole heart, they have shown me how to live a life filled with kindness and empathy, and they never fail to remind me how important it is to shoot for the stars, believe in yourself and follow your dreams. I am eternally grateful for everything my family has given me - so thank you.

I wanna do it all over again!!

Interwoven | A Marine and Natural History Photography exhibition

We’re eleven photographers from Falmouth University’s BA Marine & Natural History Photography Course, presenting 𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯, our curated exhibition of photo projects on topics bridging the natural and human world.

Every project shares its own message, and we’ve made work on topics as varied as space exploration, regenerative farming, human health and coral reef conservation!

Come and see us in St.Ives! 4th-6th June at Porthmeor studios. We look forward to seeing you there!

Introducing our exhibition: Iris Tanner - 𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦

𝘍𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 is about a regenerative farmer called Lisa Guy. From observation and collaboration, this intimate short film is a testament to Lisa’s 30 years of farming and her sensitivity to the land. Inspired by ancient sustainable farming practices, she showcases a landscape where nature and food production can coexist.
