@terri.jelinek messaged me a couple weeks ago with the kindest message and telling me if I could get out to Utah I could use her home for a week, Dec 7-13, in Park City. I’ve never met her but I was blown away and jumped on the opportunity. Her house is amazing! She doesn’t know but when Nick and I lived in Utah- Park City was the first resort we skied at before we fell in love with Snowbasin. It was also where we would mountain bike most weekends when it wasn’t snowing. It was hard to be out here without him physically there with us but I know he was there in spirit. I could hear his excitement and encouragement during it all. It was such a bittersweet time. Lots of tears were shed by me on the mountain-I just felt him there. Seeing Gavin crush it skiing after 2 lessons was awesome. His only complaint was he couldn’t go faster until we finally took him on the lift. 😅 Watching Raylee pick up snowboarding after 1 lesson was amazing. Watching my sister fall in love with skiing was so fun! Seeing Tanner be an amazing support to me and my kids on the mountain was such a gift. I could not have done this trip without my sister and BILs support. Everyone had amazing instructors and it was such good weather. I’m beyond thankful. I’m so thankful to continually see God through this tragedy. The prayers and outpouring of love and support around the world is felt. #livelikeSMOG

This is Brown. A Texas native who can rattle off the scientific name of every tree in the west and throw huge gainers into all bodies of water.
Also look at that handlebar that disappeared mid season. So tragic.

Crisp yellows as the crew hops of the ship and gets a quick brief from a squaddie on the first fire of the year.
Another quick update, I was selected as a recipient of the 2020 Wildland Fire Digital Storytelling Micro-grant. Super pumped and grateful. Thanks to #mysteryranch #waterax and the American Wildfire Experience.
Won’t get too deep into the weeds, but I’ll be trying my best to document the season and I have already started to work on a photo project focusing on the crew members. The second photo is most likely a portrait I’ll be using, (I’ll expand on the project more later) and the third photo is just Trumbo showing off his rad find.
Jumbled words, but I’m trying to go out and enjoy my 2 days off and not proofread this caption. Haha 🤘🏻
