You don’t have to be in the arts to have something meaningful to offer the arts.

Our friend Joseph Owecke of @embodyworkrva has supported Conflux by caring for the people behind our performances: our dancers.

Professional services are another way local businesses and Conflux can work together—and that relationship can take all kinds of forms. Sometimes services are donated, sometimes discounted, and sometimes Conflux gets to support another local business by becoming its customer.

Have a business or skill that might intersect with what we do? We’d love to hear about it!

And if you’re a Richmond business or community leader interested in joining us for our September 14 studio showing, send us a DM.

What you see onstage is only part of the Conflux story. There are some pretty incredible creatives behind the scenes, too. 👩‍💻📷

Anthony Johnson of @narratography has helped document Conflux from nearly the beginning, while founding company dancer @lindsaybgarrett of @coppernote has helped shape how our work is presented to the world through our posters and programs.

Sometimes we’ve hired their businesses. Sometimes they’ve generously donated their time and talent. Over the years, both have become an invaluable part of the Conflux creative community.

That’s one of the things we love about partnership: it doesn’t have to fit neatly into one box. Your business might have something to offer Conflux—and there may be something we can offer you, too.

Curious what working together could look like? Send us a DM.

And if you’re a Richmond business or community leader interested in joining us in the studio September 14, we’d love to have you—DM us for details!
