What Happens When Being Enough Is Finally Enough?

I’ve spent so much of my life creating, teaching, loving, and building community.

And I love those things. Deeply.

But something inside me is changing.

I no longer want a bigger life at the expense of a deeper one.

I want friendships where we can tell each other the truth, even when our voices shake.

I want relationships where a no doesn’t threaten the love, and a yes comes from genuine desire rather than obligation.

I want to be loved when I have nothing useful to offer. And to receive that love without feeling I have to earn it.

Because for much of my life, I confused being needed with being loved. Being busy with being valuable. How much I gave with how much I was worth.

I’m learning something different now.

I can love someone without being responsible for their happiness.

I can honor a beautiful chapter without needing to keep writing it forever.

I can let someone be disappointed without making their disappointment proof that I’ve done something wrong.

Because love and access are not the same thing.

I’m becoming more intentional about where I give my time, my energy, and my heart.

Not because I love fewer people. My capacity to love is growing.

But I’m beginning to understand that I deserve some of that love, too.

I don’t want to wait until my body is screaming before I listen to its whispers.

I don’t want to need a crisis to give myself permission to rest.

And I don’t want to spend my life proving something that was never in question.

My worth.

Not my usefulness. Not my accomplishments. Not how many people love me. Not how much I give.

Just me.

The woman who laughs too loudly, feels deeply, and has made beautiful choices and spectacularly messy ones.

I want to give her some of the devotion she’s spent a lifetime offering everyone else.

Because maybe the greatest luxury isn’t having everything.

It’s having enough room inside your own life to actually enjoy being alive.

If you knew, all the way down into your bones, that you had nothing left to prove, what would you stop doing?

And what might you finally give yourself permission to begin?

With love,
Monique

Our local spiritual community is growing here in Wilmington, NC. ✨

After the success of our first Wilmington Spiritual Community Mixer, we knew this was something worth continuing.

What made that first gathering so special wasn’t just the panel or the people who helped bring it to life. It was everyone who showed up ready to connect, share, learn, and support one another.

New friendships were made. Professional relationships and collaborations were formed. Local practitioners had the opportunity to share their work, and community members discovered new teachers, healers, guides, and resources right here in Wilmington.

And now we’re doing it again!

Our next Wilmington Spiritual Community Mixer will be co hosted by Reiki practitioners and Intuitives @laurafwendt and Brooke Rowe, with the help of our wonderful volunteers @sacred.salt.ceremonies and @jay_for_pay.

✨ THIS MONTH’S PANEL

Kellen Kucera | @soundhealingwithkellen
Mercedes Ani | @mercedesani | Reiki & Energy Healing
Chelsea Fournier | @chelseadoesbusiness
Shawn Roop | @tantraquest

As we continue to grow, we also want to honor the people who helped create the foundation you see in this Reel.

@thegoldenagemystic and Laura Wendt brought the first Mixer to life, with Brooke Rowe, @kimgriffinmedium_ @kryssabowmanhypnosis and @the.elemental.priestess sharing their wisdom as the first panel.

And just as importantly, thank you to everyone who attended, participated, connected, and helped make the first Mixer such a success. YOU are part of the local spiritual community we’re continuing to build. 🤍

Why do we believe love was invented by humans?

Because we are separate from the earth’s metabolism

It's all about ecology, life, nature

Hi, i am Dr. SerenaGaia, voice of the planet, and i help you to understand the connection between love, ecology, sexuality and you!

Follow me in this amazing journey!

ECOSEXLOVE: THE ALCHEMY

You ask, the Earth Goddess responds

Wisdoms, reflectiins, experiences

Short poems in prose

Gaia speaks here:

When life starts is when love starts.

Without the energy of love there would be no life.

Based on the theory of Gaia, we now know that when a bacterium chooses to move left or move right, that’s consciousness, love, life.

Bacteria are our first ancestors, and they practice love as the ecology of their lives.

Many humans believe that love would not exist without us, that our form of love is superior to that of animals, and that we have nothing to learn from love in other forms of life.

Nature is often imagined as the backdrop of love: the romantic scenery that inspires it.

But I say that nature is the fabric of human love. It is the essence of love in the earth’s metabolism.

Many humans have become separate from this metabolism.

They buy valentine’s cut flowers, and don’t even think of picking one from the nearby plant.

But I say, let’s acknowledge the “scenario” of human love--the nature that forms the background to the two kissing lovers--as the generous hostess who is also a lover and a mother to them.

This nature is the space of life that allows the energy of love to produce the enchantment that inundates the energy field between the two lovers.

This is the voice of the planet i am channeling for you. What about you? What questions would you like to ask of her?
