You’d think an August wedding in Spain would be a foolproof plan against rain 🤷🏼‍♀️
Not pictured: me crashing out after our venue getting flooded the night before (6 months of rain in one hour, why not)

Dress by the amazingly talented @helen.kuzh who bailed me out lots this weekend 🥺🤍

My ending of 2022 was worthy of this awful year.
However, I’m pleased to find myself in a happy ending I couldn’t even imagine; I’m proud to say that Medusa and I have dealt with it great, aside from a rare meltdown here and there.
All thanks to the people around me. As my therapist said, you get hurt in relationships thus you heal in relationships; relationships with other people, world, yourself. This fire has materialized my biggest fear and life has decided I was ready to take the test. And guess what? My cat and I had no place to live overnight+ I was short on money ( =the fear) and considering the rental market in #yvr, finding a good place in three days in the beginning of the month is an almost impossible task. Glad to report this was proven wrong. And I couldn’t have made it without my friends from ALL OVER THE WORLD and people who I’ve briefly met but who cared and offered help. I was and still am overwhelmed by kindness and vastness of people’s hearts and I’m committed to reciprocate. Going through this was a fantastic field trip into beauty of human friendship and trust.
This was massive. Excited for 2023 ☄️
PS. Extra points go to my job and my manager who I can’t tag here but holly shit did I win a lottery working for a company with fantastic values that align with mine, and my manager who sees me as a human being and is so understanding and supportive (and his dog)❤️
