#TapClipOfTheDay: The @idoworlddance 2023 World Tap Dance Championships in Riesa, Germany, wrapped up last weekend. It’s actually kind of odd to me because it was my understanding that the championships are usually held sometime in November or December. I must have missed it. But nonetheless… Tap dancers from all over the world descended on Riesa last weekend to take part in this annual event; it’s like the Super Bowl of tap dance. Many world-class tap dancers won numerous awards and medals, including our very own @americantapcompany! ❤️🤍💙 The ATC are world champions! This winning group number what’s choreographed by two former World Tap Champs, Krissy Granwehr (@krissygranwehr), one of the daughters of Nancy Chippendale (@nancy_chippendale), and Aleksandr Ostanin (@ostaninaleksandr), who himself was a former World Champion representing his native Ukraine a few years ago! 🇺🇸🇺🇦 Congratulations to the ATC and all of the other winners from across the globe! 🙌 #TapDanceAcrossTheWorld #AmericanTapCompany #KrissyGranwehr #AleksandrOstanin #WorldTapDanceChampionships #WorldTapDanceChampions #tapdance #tapdancers #tapdancer #tapdancing #teamtap #taplove #tapfam #tapfamily Repost from @americantapcompany Introducing our 2023 WORLD CHAMPIONS!❤️💛💙 Choreography: Krissy Carberry & Aleksandr Ostanin Dancers: American Tap Company🇺🇸 @idoworlddance 2023 IDO World Tap Championships
