Trial and error they say… but the journey is the dream friends. It’s a good thing that nothing is perfect… just complete and mature and lacking nothing. Being human is messy sometimes, imperfect, and art is the very same…it takes time, all things do. I just wanted to share a little honesty.

in this microwave culture… let’s try to be a bit more like slow cookers… good things take time. Give yourself grace for the journey. 💃🏻

Shout out to my amazing hype woman in these videos… @tapperina @katie.hicks016 at @mdcnashville I thank you ladies for cheering me on! This video is dedicated to both you superstars! 🌟

Cydney McGee began her dance training at age two in her hometown of Hattiesburg, Mississippi, studying ballet, tap, and jazz. As her love for dance grew, she expanded her movement vocabulary to include hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary, and commercial dance. At 18, she earned a scholarship to EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, where she trained with renowned choreographers and educators. Now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Cydney is represented by Fresh Talent Group and works full-time as a choreographer, performer, and dance educator.

Her performance credits span film, television, stage, touring, and commercial work. Highlights include Netflix’s Tall Girl 2, TNT’s CLAWS, Norwegian Cruise Line Entertainment, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Murder in the First, and the Genesis Halftime Show featuring Lil Wayne. She toured as a dancer with the band In This Moment, portrayed Annie in Chicago, and appeared in music videos for artists including In This Moment, Harriet, and Daya. Her commercial credits include a national campaign for ZAPP’S Potato Chips, and she has also worked as a principal dancer for Hard Rock Entertainment.

With more than 15 years of teaching and choreography experience, Cydney works with dancers across the country as a guest instructor, choreographer, convention director, and competition adjudicator. Her classes combine strong technical foundations with commercial versatility, musicality, and confidence, creating an energetic and encouraging environment for dancers of all levels. Many of her students have gone on to work professionally in commercials, music videos, cruise ship productions, and other areas of the entertainment industry.

Cydney remains passionate about sharing her professional experience with the next generation through teaching, choreography, mentorship, and adjudication nationwide.

A little late post but I had a great Sunday at @p3talentcomp Convention in St. Louis 🧡🎉

This was my first time dancing with them and I definitely would do it again. Every class was really fun and the teachers were all lovely and dedicated to their work. 🤩✨

Sadly I don’t have a video of every class but I was able to walk away with a free solo for any P3 Competition scholarship for being noticed by all 6 teachers for being next level and for having professionalism (Only one person received this for each age level) and I would just like to say thank you so much again ❤️🫶🏽
