050226 // april showers bring may flowers with @taraalyssaa in new york, ny

a few weeks ago, i put this photoshoot together for the month of may, playing on the popular phrase ‘april showers bring may flowers’. coincidentally enough, april showers only brought upon more showers–rather than flowers–this year (please no more 50 degree weather!), which lends a hand to the more cool-toned, moody palette i wanted to focus on for this shoot.

a big thank-you to my collaborators for all their help! the creative concept was originally inspired by my model and old friend @taraalyssaa thrifting this stunning retro-esque blue dress, and was brought to life with raindrops made with my lovely mother’s (cricut and) crafting skills.
