Thankyou so much @entitycontemporarydance for a wonderful intensive training💜

This training brought me to LA, brought me to meet so so so many nice and inspiring people. couldn’t be more grateful to have different self discoveries and realizations both in dance and my mindset. People here, especially mentors and friends in training have their own *charms** that draw me in to observe, understand and learn from their crafts. (o’ч’o) ₊˚⊹ᡣ𐭩𓂃 And i feel so welcomed, my eyes and body gradually loosened up uwuuu feeling so so safe to express in any form, knowing no one would judge. yeah i realise feeling safe in a dance community is so important! But sometimes the uncertainty might just be us being slaves to our own minds.

Lineage - An exhilarating intertwinement of the raw embodiments of dance connectivity with live jazz and Latin music. Navigating a world whilst finding my own identity, music and dance have always been a significant role in my life coming from my abuelitos. From the pain of losing loved ones, the joy of being present with these art forms and the artists have cultivated unique memories with family and new friends.

Music has always been a part of my life. To my family, you’ve shared your stories, cultural pride, love and support my whole life. I wouldn’t be the woman I am without all of you🫂

My cast of talented dancers, musicians, and crew I am so grateful to have each and every one of you a part of a dear piece encapsulating my childhood and friendships through the years. I can’t wait to see what comes next 🫂🎺

My faculty mentor, Dr. Wray, I am honored to be so connected to and supported by you. I will cherish your guidance and insightful talks 💐 @s.amawray
