The Cincinnati Bearcats’ offensive linemen take pride in their pancakes – in more ways than one. To celebrate their talent at flipping opponents to the turf (a “pancake” in O-line speak), they donned chef garb for a ticket sales promotion. We interviewed Evan Tengesdahl, Taran Tyo, and campaign architect Zach Stipe at Big 12 Media Days to tell their story for this fun video. What we at the Pony Express Award love is how Tengesdahl and Tyo (along with linemate Joe Cotton) show their bonds of genuine friendship on and off the field. The PEA goes to the tandem judged the best in college football and this video series celebrates teammates – like the ones who play on the offensive line at Cincinnati.

And if you’re inclined to spend Saturdays with the Bearcats after seeing their video, you can purchase tickets at gobearcats.com.

CINCINNATI BEARCATS 35
MIAMI REDHAWKS 31
Miami built a huge lead and it started with their 98 yard opening kick off touchdown return.
But a furious comeback earned the Bearcats a claim of the Victory Bell in a rivalry that dates back to 1888.
