Happy birthday to me
36 years ago I came to this body and this human life
Thankful
With a lot of work to do 😅 but grateful
Amiwis, people around, family, mis amores: GRACIAS , lo son todo 💞

It was an epic one:
I started singing a full-solo Bach cantata at 10am (dankiii Deutschland #☠️ 😅)
Family, friends, games, Peruvian food, music, laughs… and yesterday the wonderful @le.balcon choir (where amiwis Alan•Marie•Ryan are singing) after their performance at @deutscheoperberlin, sing to me once again the happiest birthday 🐥🥰

Grateful.
Hermosa vida 💞

December got dark, with striking highlights & deep pits of darkness, just like a black and white frame with high contrast.
All the expectations, dreams & illusions, faced the December mirror, one by one vanishing into its vastness.
As crooked as it went, It’s a wrap.

ICP stands for In-Class Private, referring to a personalized yoga experience where a certified teacher provides individual guidance, hands-on adjustments, and personalized instruction to a student during a regular group class. This method allows the student to deepen their understanding of the practice and receive tailored support for their specific needs and any injuries.

After chatting with longtime sister, friend & collaborator @tararosesullivan , thought i would refresh/ update (tldr: same info) my perspective here about PE getting into the Yoga (and fitness) industry. [Hello to my new friends in Berlin, I must come visit some time.] Of course it is inevitable, but it still stinks.

These videos began as TED 🙃 talks, aptly named BED talks (thank you Megan), in my Highlights above ^ My DM’s are always open if you want to chat further about this or anything!

The world has 28 incredible new Yoga teachers!!✨

After 7 month of deep studying and dedicated practicing we are beyond happy to certify our 28 trainess! Congratulations to every single one of you, we are more than proud!

Big thanks to you all and the energy you’ve brought into the space. It was truly special for us to see you all grow. Sad that the training finally came to an end but all together we celebrated new beginnings, a new chapter for all of you. We are excited to see you stepping out into the world to share yoga with others.

Also big thanks to the amazing teachers team and co-teachers for holding space, sharing their wisdom and knowledge. @marlalene @alexperezyoga @tararosesullivan @kumar.yoga.berlin @naneyoga

New Kids On The Schedule:
Julietta, Dulieta, @juji_ju_ , that’s (not) her name! Resident DJane, not only behind the 3BY live-stream soundboards, she originally hails from Munich where she became a DJivamuckti addict at the renowned @yogaloftmunich a.k.a. (but not to be confused with) @jivamuktiyoga_munich already working the front desk there. 18months ago, we were lucky to have her join the Three Boons Yoga team where, behind the scenes, she also quietly became a certified Three Boons Yoga teacher within our Jivamukti Yoga lineage, where she is currently still enrolled in our Advanced Teacher Training and in the 630+hour mentoring program with @tararosesullivan

First Three Boons Yoga class on the schedule, subbing for @aennie_n ins kalte (klare) Wasser geworfen style, tonight 20:15 @ the one and only Three Boons Yoga Kreuzberg, formerly known as the one and only Jivamukti Yoga Kreuzberg.

THE 2024 THREE BOONS MIDSUMMER YOGA FEST

feat. Anja Kühnel, Tara Sullivan, Rob Cigolini & Gerdus Oosthuizen + powered by Alessia from the legendary Jivamukti Canteen

JUNE 20/21-23/24, 2024 ON RÜGEN ISLAND

Since 2023, we are now retreating in our own (for the weekend only;) renaissance manor situated on its own exclusive private mini-island within big Rügen island. Except, the intimacy of the mini-island and its surrounding bay waters is usually shared by hundreds of birds as it is so quiet and remote here. What better company can yogis wish for?

Tucked away in a remote corner of Rügen island, amongst wheat fields, paddocks, arrays of bird nests, and bays of the Baltic, at the end of a tiny road, there is an exclusive private mini-island completely surrounded on all sides by a shallow seawater bay (in German “Wiek”) that is a natural conservation area. The water surrounding our manor not only puts on spectacular displays of light and color at all times of the year; it has also become a refuge for all kinds of species of birds, including cranes, herons, cormorants, grey geese and ducks.

Built in 1553 and being allowed to go to rack and ruin in the 1960s, the manor has just recently been completely rebuilt and restored, keeping most of the details from the old design and thus retaining a generous and enchanting air with bright mansion-like spaces that are perfect for practice and relaxation. Just the right location for those who seek to breathe deeply again. The bird colony and nature reserve surrounding our manor allow for spectacular walks under the big skies of Germany’s north allowing us to dive back into nature.

Our retreat island will also feature outdoor sauna experiences, fire pits and a great shed for outdoor yoga and chanting sessions.
