#ThrowbackThursday

A tyre gamble at the season finale in Hockenheim! 🌦️ Although the race was declared wet, drying track conditions prompted around a third of the grid to switch to slicks during the formation lap – forcing them to start from the pit lane!

Laptime-Performance got their tyre strategy spot on! 💪 Niels Langeveld and Sebastian Freymuth had opted for slicks from the outset and secured a one-two finish, celebrating their first podiums of the season! Wouter Boerekamps finished in third.

Two letters. One motorsport word. Zero time to think. 🧠🏁

@cesarebrusa and @aldofestante go head-to-head in a battle of quick thinking and racing knowledge.

They each say a letter at the same time, then it’s a race to name a motorsport word containing both letters.

First to score two points takes the win. 🏆

Easy? Only until the clock starts. 😏

Best friends or just lucky guesses? 👀😂

@martina.guzzo and @spinellisofia take on the Compatibility Test! 🧠

One first name, one countdown, and two surnames that hopefully match.

Same answer? The compatibility bar goes up. 📈
Different answers? Well… friendship under investigation. 🚨

Let’s see if they share the same brain cell. 🤝

Hockenheim, over and out. 🏁

A season that feels like unfinished business.

I came into this final weekend with high hopes, but unfortunately, things didn’t go our way. Constantly changing weather conditions and the wrong tyre choice made it a challenging end to the season.

Despite everything, I want to say a huge thank you to @targetcompetition . To our mechanics for their tireless work, our engineers for their constant support and dedication, and my teammates for making even the toughest weekends so much more enjoyable.

A special thank you to @carreracupdeutschland for selecting me into the Talent Pool this year, and for the invaluable coaching, guidance and knowledge throughout the season.

My third year in racing, and I honestly can’t believe how much I’ve learned this year alone.

This season certainly came with its challenges, and the results didn’t reflect the effort, progress or potential we had. But I’m incredibly grateful for every lesson, every experience and the progress I continued to make along the way.

Not the season I had hoped for, but one that has taught me more than I could have imagined.

Thank you to everyone who was part of the journey. 🩷🩵

@carreracupdeutschland 2026 🏁

Not the final weekend we hoped for sadly. Misscalculated tyre pressures put us on the backfoot in Qualifying so I had to take some risks to go forward in the races to stay in the championship fight.

Race 1 was compromised by steering damage already from lap 1 onwards, so only P7.

Race 2 was probably the craziest race I have ever wittnessed, carving through the field after a tyre change in the pitlane. The Speed was good and the overtaking fun, but sadly I got handed 3 Penalty laps for wheel to wheel contact (which equals around 15s). Fair to say that a P10 is still solid despite the penalty.

Ultimately I even lost P3 in the Standings to finish the year in 4th, but to be honest I was only going for the win, not trying to play it safe, as my goal was to be the best and not the 1st or 2nd loser.

I am still proud of my perfomance over the year, as there were major setbacks and difficulties to overcome. A big thank You to the Team @targetcompetition , especially the Engineers and mechanics, it was an absolute pleasure. This year we were taking on the big Teams sometimes just missed the little bit of luck needed to win a championship 🫶

Taking some time to reflect and think about my future, maybe I will come back to the racetrack, maybe not.

Best regards from the Hobby Driver,
Alex

Last race of the year complete! 🏁

It’s been a great season in @carreracupdeutschland, with plenty of ups and downs but, most importantly, some massive learnings along the way. A huge thank you to @targetcompetition for all the hard work and support throughout the season.

Hockenheim wasn’t the final round I was hoping for, but we showed what we’re capable of in the second half of the season, consistently fighting inside the top 10.

Plenty to take away from this year, and already looking forward to what’s next.
