On our second day in Edwards, Colorado we went a few miles west of town to meet some of the rams of @shanikowoolcompany.

A smaller herd of male sheep accompanied by their protective dogs grazes on this ranch. We set up at the top of the hill and Julie, with the help of her sheep dog, corralled the herd towards us for photos. We had enough time to play 18 at Eagle Ranch Golf Club that afternoon and finished with Bison Steaks at the Gashouse.

Missed Eagle

Since the restaurant closed at 9 we called ahead around 830 on our drive from the golf course in Eagle back to Edwards. The GASHOUSE let us place a for-here order of two bison strip steaks with a baked potato and broccoli.

We went out to Edwards, Colorado a couple of weeks ago to visit one of the @shanikowoolcompany sheep ranches. All of the wool we source is from Shaniko ranches. The morning the day we flew home we drove to Mt. Massive, a gimmicky 9 hole that is the highest golf course in North America. About 10,000 feet above sea level.

The only people on the range across the road were 3 guys from the Leadville High School golf team. They asked if we were YouTube golfers and I said unfortunately not. Our favorite part of the range and golf course in general was the make-shift basketball hoop shaped target on the range. It’s a 25 yard shot to the metal garbage can attached to the wooden backboard.
