Day 1 at Oktoberfest on the Prairies! 🍻🪗

Come along for a radio tour around Saskatoon before hitting the stage with @thewesternsenators at @oktoberfestsk

Huge thanks to @929thegrid, @cjwwradio, @cbcsask for having me in and helping us spread the word — including a little accordion before most people had finished their morning coffee. 😂

Then it was off to @prairielandpark for a packed night of music, dancing and Oktoberfest fun with the Western Senators. Thanks to everyone who came out and kept the party going late into the night! 🍻

Special thanks to @lochlincross, and @taroncochrane

Today's offering from the ol' #MiniPunkRockMuseum... made possible by an incredibly generous offering from the one and only @taroncochrane!

@The Extroverts are etched in punk history forever as Regina's first ever punk band, and for releasing the first ever punk record in Saskatchewan. Pretty rad thing to have on a resume! And prettttty rad thing to now have in the collection.

The band is still rockin' in 2026, so watch for their name. 🤘

Huge appreciation to the band for these epic treasures and for signing the set list and single.

This kinda thing is one of many reasons why the punk rock community is the best scene on Earth.

Long live Ripcordz, one of the most influential punk bands in Canada for longer than I've been alive, and I'm old in the pit.👊💪🎸🤘

Reminder, when you visit @gatewayfestival it's suggested that you ride the bull, rescue a cat from an abandoned farmhouse and enjoy the weekend full of great bands (not all shown). Thanks Bengough. Love your town! & And the Festival too
