✨🌕✨New Moon in Aquarius✨🌕✨

~•~•~•~ January 21st ~•~•~~

✨New moons can stir new beginnings within us and often prompt us to make changes or a fresh start. They can wake our minds up, and give us a sudden vision of what lies ahead. We can be more prone to having sudden impulses and ideas for our future at this time. Tomorrow’s new moon suggests taking on new challenges in your life, which may have otherwise been unthinkable. The palpable energy of the new moon can begin to be felt from last night up until early next week. Uneasiness, sensitivity, sensory overload and being easily agitated can be expected.

✨This Aqua new moon may be a make or break time for projects, relationships you've outgrown or any stagnant paths. Since the moon is in Aquarius, the sign of individuality, freedom, innovation, and represents how individuals come in to play collectively / socially - this energy can bring about revelations that could inspire action and bring change into these areas of your life.

✨Aquarius new moons are known for speeding up things that were delayed too, and since it’s sextile Jupiter (the planet of expansion and luck) this makes it an even better time to set intentions, goals, or manifestations - especially it’s the first new moon of the new year! I’ll be spending this new moon journaling, tidying up my space, making a playlist, and repotting plants 🌿🌼🫶

✨🌕✨ Full Moon in Cancer ✨🌕✨

The first full moon of the year is in Cancer and paaacked with emotional energy, so buckle up y’all! 🌚 The Cancer full moon and sun in Capricorn are T-squaring chiron in Aries. Chiron in Aries represents our wounding around sense of self, our relationships with others, and our inner-child, so these areas of our life and thoughts could be amplified during these few days. This is an intense lunar transit since the moon is ruled by Cancer - when the moon moves into Cancer emotions are heightened. Luckily with the sun is in Capricorn we have some earth energy to ground a bit!

This full moon is being opposed by Mercury retrograde in Capricorn - and with Mars also still retrograde in Gemini, there’s a bit more chaos in the air since there are a lot of palpable transits occurring at once, meaning it could be a good time to make space for yourself and your feelings, even if you don’t particularly want to 😅

Questions to consider during these few days: how can you make more space for kindness towards yourself? what would happen if you gave yourself more patience?

Idk about y’all but I’ve been feelin vvv happy the days are getting brighter again since the solstice 🙌🏼🌞

Winters undoubtedly the best season for introspection and pause which I’m here for — but it also hits my seasonal depression hard so I’m stoked the days are getting slightly brighter every day 😅 This winter I promised myself that 5/7 days of the week I’ll make myself do something (go to the gym, social outings, go outside, etc.) — even when I’m unmotivated to — and honestly, it’s helped my mental health monumentally this season 😌 If you struggle with similar things during the cold season, what’s one realistic thing you could promise or ask yourself to do to help keep the winter blues at bay?

I’ve gotta talk about the mercury retrograde (rx) we’ve been in since December 28th now that mercury fiiinally goes direct tomorrow 👏🏼🎉 the past 3+ weeks were a good time to pay attention to all of the Re’s: Reflect, Re-evaluate, Review, Recenter. This rx asked us to s l o w down and really look at the patterns in our life.

✨Mercury rules intellect, communication, technology, & transportation. Mercury rx has a rough rep because of its rebellious energy it holds. The energy can have negative or delayed effects with communication, reactions, contracts, & electronics (things breaking down/glitching, higher tensions or trouble in communication, delays with travel, etc.) This planet goes into retrograde 4 times a year for 3-4 weeks at a time, which isn’t nothing! I have waaay too many wild things that have happened during a mercury rx period to not underestimate its intense energy 😂

✨This rx can be a positive time too though, if you use the energy to your advantage and don’t let the inconveniences during this time affect you.

✨ Lasrly during a mercury rx, theres a handful of minor & sometimes major inconveniences or forks in the road that will come up which test you. People, patterns, cycles, old narratives, etc will come back during this time to test you. Are you going to repeat that cycle again? will you stay in a situation that no longer serves you? Or are you going to re-evaluate your need and wants so you can move on to better things that match your ultimate goals and intentions?

“Should I do a virtual or in person reading?” is one of the most asked questions I get! so here’s some info on why one might be more suited for you than the other 😊

In person readings can take place at my home, your place, or in the warmer months - a park or beach! 🌞If you’re a person who wants to physically be there and feel the energy with the surrounding crystals and smell the smudging this option is more ideal for you! You can opt in for a write-up of your reading too.

With virtual readings you get a full write-up (word doc) sent to you, so you can look back or reference your spread whenever you want! You can opt in for a video or voice call to chat about your reading too 😊 this is a great option for those who want to soak up every ounce of information you get from a reading. Comes with a video of the ambiance and smudging.
