Wow… 7 months living, traveling, and racing in Europe comes to an end tomorrow. After World Champs the realization hit hard that I’m actually going home. This has been an unreal year filled with countless memories, laughs, and friends. I’m actually quite sad to be leaving! Everyone that made this year so great thank you so much, you’ve all been my family away from home ❤️

Special thank you to @alexrudeau helping me get my visa to come here and be able to do this! I truly couldn’t have done it without you PL!

I hope to see everyone next year racing however that’s going to shape up. I will see you all again soon ❤️

What a week in Finale Ligure. 🇮🇹

Coaching at the Enduro World Championships, wearing the GB kit, is something I’ll never take for granted. To stand in that team and represent my country was a real honour.

And the results:

🌈 Helen – World Champion. The rainbow jersey. Years of graft, and she delivered when it mattered most. So proud of you. 🥺❤️❤️❤️

Every one of those rides came from early mornings, hard sessions and the trust these riders put in the process. Top 20s at a World Championships don’t happen by accident. Thank you all everyone of my athletes 🫡❤️

And what a damn good season it’s been!

Words will never quite do justice to this incredible group of athletes. But if I had to sum you all up in one word, it would simply be LEGENDS! ❤️

I owe so much to every single one of you. The trust, the loyalty, the laughs, the hard work and the memories we’ve made along the way mean more than you’ll ever know.

Both my family and I are incredibly grateful to you all. 🥺🤝

And I mean it when I say, I’m proud as punch! 👊❤️

What actually separates World Cup enduro riders? 🔬

This season I profiled 10 UCI EDR World Cup athletes and compared their physiology with every stage result across all 6 rounds, as part of my MSc in Sport & Performance Coaching at the University of Stirling.

The headline finding is that no single number tells the story.

That’s why we use the AO four-axis model:

01 Ceiling: the size of your aerobic engine. Higher capacity went with faster season pace.
02 Reserve: what you can give above threshold. A weapon, but it came with more fade late in the day.
03 Durability: how well you hold power under fatigue. This was the strongest predictor of who faded across a race day.
04 Fuel economy: how efficiently you fuel the effort. It was strongly linked to pace.

Fresh fitness tells you how fast a rider can go. Durability tells you how long they can keep it up. Elite riders need all four.

This is the science behind the Everyday Athlete Program: three key sessions a week, built around all four axes.

This is how our pros train. 👇

Three key sessions a week, straight from the AO library:

01 Strength: full-body strength, a chassis integrity circuit and an aerobic finish. Built to keep you strong and stable on the bike.

02 Conditioning: power cleans and front squats, then a 16-minute AMRAP. Force production that holds up when you’re tired.

03 Fitness: 6 VO2 max reps of 2 minutes, plus 1 minute harder. Building the engine for long days and hard climbs.
The same structure our World Cup riders use, scaled for real life: work, family and everything else.
