In the fifth episode of Photowalkcast, we go on a photowalk in Helsinki’s East Pasila neighborhood with photographer Taru Latva-Pukkila. East Pasila’s concrete urban landscape, ever-changing street art, and even surprising details provide the backdrop for a conversation about photography, urban space, and all the things you can discover when you’re out and about with a camera.

In this episode, we also explore Taru’s long history in photography communities and how the Instagram community evolved into a network that brings photographers together. We talk about the importance of community, shooting together, and how people can inspire one another to head out with a camera.
