So thankful to @izzyxwolf for capturing such gorgeous moments during the @queerdancefreakout summer show! I really loved what this show represented as a display of queer history, culture, and celebration 💕

Sometimes I can hear my heart through my ears, even with the cicadas chittering in the hot summer air.

Sometimes I think you can hear my heart, too.

My wife looked at me, at 27, and I began to split open. I almost forgot I stood once, but the forgetting is short.

Apologize and retry, say I’m sorry to myself this time.

Chandra, I’m so sorry I forgot how wonderful we are, that I embraced the doubt in our chest.

We can do this, we can live life on our terms and be surrounded by those that love us openly and with grace.

I have to hope, because despair keeps my head down and I have to look up to face the sunrise.

(Thank you to everyone who‘s made this move possible and this transition exceptional)
