Attending Houston Cinema Arts Festival last week has been unforgettable!

It was also an honor to screen my @film_idontknow as a finalist of their CineSpace 2026 -- a truly one-of-a-kind competition held jointly with @NASA. 🚀

I’m genuinely touched by everyone from @cinemasocietyhtx for their heartfelt Houstonian hospitality! ❤️ 🇨🇱

Especially appreciate the warm welcomes from HCAF’s Exec Director Katie Leigh Creeggan-Ríos @kcreeggs as well as Community/Programs Manager Rachael Valentine Acosta @localseahag .

Special thanks to CineSpace’s manager Hannia Yeverino @cactuswaterr for taking care of us finalists from the very start. 🙏 (Shout out to Ops manager Julissa Guajardo @juls.media too.)

I’ve such fun meeting all the finalist filmmakers too! (I knew my film had no chance once I saw theirs!) 👏

HCAF’s weeklong schedule is full of inclusively curated films and inspirational programs.

That includes auteur Patrick Wang’s masterclass, where he shared how he adapted classic cinematographic techniques to compose a novel audio-visual world in his daring film, _A. Rimbaud_ (2026). 👏

(Check his film’s website for when Patrick will present this masterclass next.)

Thank you @cinemasocietyhtxr! Thank you @NASA! And thank you to @fontanotcarlos for co-founding CineSpace over a decade ago! 🙏🙏🙏

Trivia 🤓: _A. Rimbaud_ (2026) was shot in Winnepeg!

I’ve been so involved with the documentary, work, writing, life, etc. that I forgot to highlight these beautiful shots taken by @tashagorel

I love headshots. As an actor they’re an annoying responsibility, but as a human I love the documentation of my growth. I’m really proud of who I’m growing up to be. Still flawed. Still so much to learn. Still fighting.

having a little secret is kinda fun, isn’t it?🤫

Void of Form 5 - Summer Secrets - 08/01/2026😏☀️

Got the opportunity to be both the photographer AND the secret closing performer for an event that is so close to my heart! I couldn’t have done any of it without my collaborators, Ashton, Lena, and Gabe, and a big thank you to THE @merrymagdalen for pitching the idea in the first place!!😘

Such a lovely night of art and life and vulnerability and dance💃 Should I post our whole performance??
