Thank you @jonasloeb and @mugic.us for inviting me out for a sweet B2B to close out the show. Was so inspiring to play out my new music in front of a completely new crowd of people ❤️

It's a family affair at @deependnyc tomorrow!! @wabisabi.collective have enlisted me for late-night duties to support my brother @mikayli.sound. Stoked to be on this lineup with a bunch of absolute homies. Come thru - $10 before 11PM, $15 after. Got a whole bunch of new tunes for the 3am soldiers (and might do some cheeky b2b2b action during my slot)

1 week from today! Come out and catch @tashisounds spin some 140 at the @deependnyc on 10/25. Read more below in our newest artist spotlight. Don’t forget to click the link in our bio to RSVP and get more information about the event.

From the vibrant streets of Brooklyn to the heart of New Jersey, James Church, known by his moniker ‘tashi.’, is quietly becoming one of the freshest new DJ’s in the 140bpm space, attentively crafting and curating a unique style that touches on smooth, energetic, dark and experimental.
In addition to several renegade sets at various festivals throughout the summer, he notably played a standout set at the Soundz Organic Soundcamp back-to-back with Jonas Loeb during the 2023 Elements Music and Arts Festival in Pennsylvania. tashi.'s digital presence is equally compelling, with his "140 w flavor" mix series on Soundcloud amassing over 8,000 combined plays.
As he continues honing and evolving his sound and tastes, this is just the beginning. But with live-mixing capabilities that can command a room’s attention and an undeniable knack for dropping deep cuts that resonate, the future looks bright and tashi. is poised to take the tri-state area's bass music scene by storm.
