Jazz with Alinna
September 26, 2026

Fam, it was a jazzy day with Alinna today. How nice to get a vid of Tasha dancing with Alinna. This duo is awesome.

This was a fun choreo which included a Developpé, great shapes, Jazz walks, 3 point turn, Châiné turn, box step and pirouette. Tasha did a double and Alinna did a triple - amazing! Ok technique!

We had an awesome time learning this piece with Alinna. She did a great job teaching her open level class and letting us have a lot of time to dance.

Thanks Alinna and Tasha!

Lyrical Jazz with Alinna
September 26, 2026

Fam- happy Saturday! We hope you are having a great weekend so far.

Today, we made it to the studio and get to share a vid of Alinna and the Fam. Alinna subbed Lyrical Jazz and this choreo had so much feeling to it. Beautiful choreo and beautiful dancing, both soft and strong to lyrics and a song that had such a melancholy and vulnerable feeling. Such a great choreo.

Thanks Alinna and Fam. We love watching you dance.

Fam- Alinna teaches Jazz, Jazz Funk, and Dancer’s Fitness.

Jazz Funk with Dustin
September 25, 2026

Happy Friday Fam. We made it to Dustin’s 2nd last Jazz Funk class until he returns in Spring next year. If you want to learn this awesome choreo, come next Friday for round 2.

It was a full house today and we feel fortunate that we were able to grab a vid of the Fam at the end of class. What a fun, fast choreo which definitely challenged us! These babes make it look easy. This combo had great shapes, hand movements, levels, holds, and a soutenu. As always, we had a great time learning from Dustin. We had a lot of time to dance and play with this combo and are looking forward to week 2.

Thanks Dustin and Fam. So happy to see you all.

Jazz Funk with Dustin
September 18, 2026

Fam, tonight we made it to Dustin’s Jazz Funk class. He has 2 more classes before he takes a break from the studio until next Spring.

We’re always so happy taking Dustin’s classes. We love his choreo and his teaching style. Class today consisted of warm-up, stretching, and light cardio and core. We learned a move in advance of choreo that was in the piece and practiced it across the floor. Then choreo time.

Choreo was super fun with great musicality, shapes, cool movement, both quick and slow moves and nice hand details.

Thanks Dustin and Fam.

Fam- Dustin will teach a new piece next week as today was round 2.

Please tags as we don’t know everyone’s instas.

Part One of a Two Part Threads series is today.

I joined Threads a while back, and in my first update, asked the community if there were any independent bands that leaned Canadian because I'd love to play them on the show.

And boy did I get responses from all over.

I don't do any meandering on shows this time, because I've been corrected - Threads can be a pretty great place (Get it? Corrections? The picture? No? Okay). You're hearing from this pile of amazing people you've probably never heard before.
