Sisterly Sunday 💕💚 Yesterday we had the honor of visiting First United Methodist Church in College Station, TX for our first sisterly relations activity and service project of the year. Thank you to Sr. Pastor Kefentse Risher and First Lady Natasha Young-Risher for having us and allowing us to be of service in the children’s center of the church🙏🏾! Thank you to our Programs Chair (Patricia Hollis-McGruder) for organizing this event and our Sisterly Relations Chair (Dr. Tammie Preston-Phillips owner of @tasttee1) for catering our meal for the day as well! #AKA1908 #strengthenoursisterhood#supremeservicetoallmankind #fellowshop #praise #worship

This weekend I was presented with the Aggie Impact 2023 Rising Star Award by the Black Former Student Network. From the moment I arrived I was met with hugs and congratulations. Those in attendance truly made me feel seen. Getting this award was confirmation that I am walking in my purpose and that what I do matters. I can’t wait to attend in the future and create long lasting connections.
